Product Architecture & Systemic Logic

Building a Relational Workspace Turning the chat into a "command line" for the app. I’m collaborating on the logic that lets users reference and resolve objects—plans, wins, sessions—directly in a thread without losing context.

Architecting the Multi-Adult Loop Untangling permissions for a complex support network. I’m co-designing the "invisible" logic that lets adults collaborate on private notes while keeping the student's space safe and encouraging.

Designing for Cumulative Capital Shifting from a "to-do list" to an identity engine. I’m helping define Wins—permanent, prized objects that turn a student’s daily effort into a lasting digital reputation.

Cleaning the Systemic Noise Partnering with engineering to pay down years of design debt. I’m stripping away feature-specific colors and labels to build a container-based system where the UI finally follows the logic of the data.

Before that,

I spent nearly nine years as a Visual Designer at BrightBytes, shaping the design and evolution of eight education SaaS products used by districts and state partners nationwide. Alongside that work, I partnered with brands like If Only and Dolls Kill, helping small businesses clarify and strengthen their visual identity.

I earned a BS in Visual Communications from San Francisco State University’s Design & Industry program in 2012, where I built a foundation in visual systems, structure, and craft.

I’ve also volunteered with Catchafire, providing pro-bono design support to nonprofits — work that continues to shape how I think about impact.
